Every release brings the platform closer to one workspace for the whole exploration question. Here is what has shipped, newest first.

Reuse spectral curves across areas (Analogy Lab upgrade)
A spectral curve you save in one area can now be used in another. Pull a curve from a pixel, save it to your spectral library, and pick it as the reference in the "Find Similar" tab of any project. So you can take a known signature from one site and go looking for geological analogues somewhere else entirely.
A guided spectral exploration workflow
A new side panel walks you through spectral exploration one step at a time, from setting up your area, through cleaning the signal and loading layers, to validating results in Analogy Lab and defining a final target. Every stage is labelled, so you always know where you are and what comes next.
One "+ ADD" button in the sidebar
The separate buttons for requesting data, uploading files, and creating spectral targets are now a single "+ ADD" button with a dropdown: draw a shape, run AI Spectral Targeting, add preset layers, request more data, or upload your own. Fewer buttons, same options.
Bug fixes
Sublayers now behave predictably the first time you load them onto the map.
Source labels in the spectral targets influence diagram now show correctly.
Map attribution styling now matches the rest of the app.
The glossary page uses the app's own scrollbar instead of the browser default.

Ignacy now works as a team of specialists
Instead of one general assistant, Ignacy now oversees three role-specialized assistants, each grounded in its own knowledge:
TerraEye Guide, which knows the platform, its tools, and workflows.
A geologist who knows deposit geology.
Spectral Geologist, an expert in spectral methods and the spectral characteristics of minerals.
With deeper, role-specific grounding, the answers are more accurate and more useful. It's closer to asking a domain expert than a general chatbot, so you can make sense of your results faster.
We rewrote Ignacy's first prompt so it's obvious what it can help with, and your first question lands a more relevant answer.
Improved the structure and length of Ignacy's responses.

Fixed a false-colour composite display issue.
Background layers with more than three bands display correctly again after regression.

Better depth handling for geophysical data
Geophysical layers that carry depth information are now handled more accurately, so you get a cleaner view as you move through a data volume at different depths (depth slider available only for custom datasets).
Faster map rendering
We optimized the engine behind the map, so layers load and draw more quickly.
Bug fixes
Fixed a bug where the layer preview vanished in the Layers panel when you added a second layer of the same category from Data.

Analogy Lab: point-based spectral similarity mapping
Analogy Lab arrives in full. Define a spectral reference point and map everywhere with similar spectral characteristics across the scene. It's built for exploration and target detection, so you can find where else your reference signature turns up.
Editable shapes in the drawing tool
You can now edit shapes by their vertices. Add or remove points to fine-tune any drawing.
Bug fixes
Ignacy: report and hotspot generation work again end to end, after a regression in an earlier release.
Spectral targets now apply correctly with EnMAP satellite data.
Fixed missing or incorrect Spectral Feature Fitting (SFF) information in Masking Hub.
Fixed a geophysical-data slider that behaved incorrectly.
Added coordinate display for TerraEye camera shots, for better spatial referencing in the viewer.

New home screen: your whole portfolio on one map
The portfolio list is now a world map. Every area you can access shows up as a point, and you click one to drop straight into its map view. Selection stays in sync both ways: click a point on the map and it highlights in the side list, and the other way round too. You see your full exploration portfolio in global context the moment you open TerraEye, switching areas takes one click, and you can order new areas from the same view.
Ignacy, rebuilt from the ground up
Ignacy has been completely rewritten for stability and better answers. What you'll notice:
A new animated logo and a refreshed chat interface.
A new underlying AI model and better error handling.
A chat window that follows you as you navigate the map.
Steadier long sessions, with fewer dropped or empty responses.
This is the foundation for the team of specialist assistants that arrives in a later release. For now, it's a more reliable, more accurate companion for working through spectral, magnetics, and geochemical data.
Analogy Lab (early release), replacing the Spectral Editor
The Spectral Editor becomes Analogy Lab. This first release carries over everything the Spectral Editor did, plus two additions:
Vegetation (PLANTS) spectral curves in the pixel inspector, so you can compare pixel signatures against vegetation references without leaving the platform.
The groundwork for the upcoming "Find Similar" similarity search.
The "Find Similar" tab ships disabled in this release and gets switched on later.
Magnetics, properly integrated
Magnetics data now lives in the same workspace as your spectral and other layers. You can visualise it, run standard magnetic transformations, pick a dataset for your area, and use display controls for colour, scale, and data range. Automatic data aggregation covers the US, Canada, and Australia; elsewhere we use the global magnetics dataset. The TerraEye team handles initial uploads for you, and self-serve upload is on the roadmap.
Geochemistry: point assays alongside your other layers
Upload geochemical points and view them on your area, with classified or graduated display, an attribute table in the bottom tab, and your other layers shown alongside. The same framework works for other GeoJSON vector data, so you can classify by attribute, adjust colours, and so on. As with magnetics, the TerraEye team handles initial uploads, with self-serve upload to come.
Known limitations in this release
Analogy Lab's "Find Similar" tab ships disabled and gets enabled in a later release.
Magnetics automatic aggregation covers the US, Canada, and Australia; elsewhere, the global dataset is used.
Magnetics and geochemistry uploads are handled by the TerraEye team for now; self-serve upload is on the roadmap.
Ignacy report generation is temporarily unavailable.
