TerraEye 2.0 goes to Salt Lake City

Staying ahead on spectral, geophysical and geochemical data means being in the room where the newest methods get argued out. The three going: Magdalena Laban-Cieślik, Marcin Jakubowicz and Wojciech Kuloza-Kaczan.

On 29 September, the day before SEG opens, the University of Utah runs a workshop led by NASA, USGS and JPL around the GEMx and EMIT programs. These are the airborne and spaceborne missions putting hyperspectral data over critical-mineral ground into the public domain. Coverage that used to require a survey budget is becoming something you can download, and we want to learn about it from the people who fly it rather than from documentation.

SEG 2026 follows, from 30 September to 3 October, built around the ore deposits of the North American Cordillera.

Magdalena, Lead Project Geologist, is after case histories. Discoveries where spectral data drove the identification, and what it had to be combined with to get there.

Marcin, Data Scientist, is after the fusion problem. Spectral, geochemical and structural layers turning into one prospectivity map, with a confidence layer that survives a client pushing on it.

Wojciech, Head of Product, is after what comes next. Which capabilities sharpen the platform further, so spectral, geochemical and geophysical data work even harder together in the field.
